The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Dragao wants to get back to his feet.
Santos decides to stand up, so the ref orders Dragao to his feet.
Dragao wants to clinch.
Santos gets a takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dragao looking for submissions off his back.
Santos moves nicely into side control.
Dragao tries to escape but Santos is in control.
Santos trying to control the action but Dragao is working from the bottom.
Dragao is looking to get back to his feet here but Santos is keeping cool and he's managed to take Dragao's back.

Santos has his opponent's back but Dragao is looking to stand. He manages to get to his feet and shakes off Santos.

Santos is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dragao defends it well.
Dragao is looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dragao is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Santos has latched onto it... Big trouble! Santos pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Dragao is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Santos!
