These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Ball as he connects with a hook.
Ball missing with a left hand there. Jones was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jones was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Ball takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Ball misses with a hook.
Jones throws out a counter right but Ball avoids it with no problem.
Jones takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Ball fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it.
Jones is looking for the big counter here.
Jones gets cracked there but stands up to it.

It looks like Quinan Jones has been cut.
Jones throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ball has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ball looks to land a left hand but Jones moved out of range nicely.
Jones now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Jones stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Jones throws a body punch but Ball moves out of range.
Jones throws a hook but Ball avoids it easily.
Ball throws a body shot but no joy.
A little jabbing left from Jones on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Jones takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Ball digs a good hook to Jones's body.
Ball looks to score with a jab to the body but Jones is just out of range.
Jones swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Ball misses with a shot to the body
and Jones counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Ball is looking to wear down Jones with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Jones gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Ball.
Ball works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Jones displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ball throws out the jab.
Jones is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Ball throws a hook but Jones avoids it easily.
Ball scores with the left hand. Jones knows he should have avoided that one.

Ball cracks Jones with a hook to the temple - Jones is on wobbly legs here! Ball swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Jones falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Ball wins by TKO!
