Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Tank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kenny Wood! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hank Tank! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A leg kick checked by Tank. Wood jabbing away but nothing is landing. Wood fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tank sprawls well initially but Wood persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Wood is controlling the pace.
Tank wants to get back to full guard. Wood is thwarting Tank's attempts to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wood lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Wood scoring with strikes to the body and head. Tank looks gassed! Wood uses his free foot to push down on Tank's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Tank. Wood in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Tank wants to hold on but Wood pushes him away. Wood cracks Tank with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Wood scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Tank is rocked! Wood postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Tank in real trouble here! The ref calls for Tank to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kenny Wood!
