And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Paulo Santos and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tameer moves into the clinch successfully.
Tameer has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Borges uses from the top position.
Tameer is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Borges is aware though and is defending well.
Tameer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Borges gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Tameer will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tameer throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Borges is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Tameer has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Borges is looking to defend but Tameer has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Borges! Tameer pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Borges taps out and this one is all over!
