The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kuomanen moves into the clinch successfully.

Silva throws a punch but it's blocked by Kuomanen.
Silva tries to throw a body punch but Kuomanen avoids it by throwing Silva back against the cage.
Kuomanen lands a shoulder strike.
Kuomanen gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Well, if Kuomanen is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Kuomanen is really struggling to control Silva but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kuomanen seems to be working for a kimura but Silva defends the submission attempt.

Kuomanen maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Silva could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Kuomanen has cracked it and Silva is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Kuomanen!
