The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
oliveira looks to land a combination but Azeve avoids it well.
Azeve takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Math Azeve has been cut.
Azeve throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Azeve fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with oliveira, pushing him back against the cage.
Azeve is trying to drag oliveira to the mat but oliveira just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

oliveira throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Azeve stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

oliveira tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Azeve paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Azeve tries for a takedown but oliveira sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

oliveira moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Azeve takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
oliveira lands a with a good body shot.
oliveira throws a head kick that half lands.

Math Azeve seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
