Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julio Christ (ranked 1360 p4p, 5442 weight class) and John Amery (ranked 51 p4p, 169 weight class). Julio Christ has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Julio Christ!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Amery!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Amery moves into the clinch.

Christ breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Christ throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The fighters circling - Christ throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Amery drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Christ manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Amery has Christ in his guard.

Amery has his foot on Christ's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Christ works his way back into a safe position though.

Christ looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Christ counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Christ is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Amery hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
