And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Greg Jackson !
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Satomi tries to keep at a distance but Jackson has taken the fight into the clinch.
Jackson blocks an elbow strike.

Satomi successfully pulls guard.
Jackson passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Jackson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jackson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Satomi can't do much from the bottom here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jackson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Satomi has escaped the position, nice work there.

Satomi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jackson on the ground.

Jackson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Satomi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Satomi is not content to let Jackson control the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Jackson has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Jackson misses with a few strikes there.

Jackson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Satomi stops Jackson from passing to mount.
Satomi trying his best to control but Jackson has mounted him.

Jackson looking to control but Satomi is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Jackson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Satomi is surviving well by controlling Jackson 's body position as best he can.
Jackson looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Jackson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Satomi is squirming around, avoiding Jackson 's attempts to control the action.
