Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between African King (ranked 3741 p4p, 25119 weight class) and Trent LeJones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, African King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Trent LeJones!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Sam Margolis and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

King moves into the clinch.
King manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

King jumps guard and drags LeJones to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
LeJones wants to stand but King has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
King managing to control the position.
LeJones postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
King pulls LeJones in close to his closed guard and prevents LeJones from doing any damage or advancing position.
LeJones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with King. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now King is on top in guard.

King drops back looking for a leg! LeJones is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and LeJones manages to kick King off! King jumps back into LeJones's guard.
King forces his way into half guard.
King wants to pass to mount but LeJones is defending the position.
King with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

King looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
King moves nicely into side control.

King is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. LeJones knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

King wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by LeJones, who protects the arm well.

King works to advance to full mount. LeJones defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

King looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

King looking to secure an arm triangle but LeJones defends it well.

King is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. LeJones can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
King tries to control but LeJones wriggling away.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

African King dominated that round.
That's time! King's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

King gets cracked there but stands up to it.
African King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
LeJones throws a hook but King blocks it.
King half committed to a counter leg kick.
King moves out of range as LeJones strikes.
King circles away from the clinch attempt
and King counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
LeJones throws a sloppy head kick
enabling King to counter with a crisp jab.

King shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than King was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
LeJones tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

King swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). African King!
African King tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
