The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Houdini.
Houdini trying to control the action but Jones is working from the bottom.
Jones sneaks back into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Houdini in particular looking to stall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jones looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Houdini content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Jones is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Houdini pulls his head out easily.
Jones tries to roll over but Houdini keeps him under control.

Houdini passes the guard and advances to mount!
Houdini throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Houdini has hold of Jones's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jones manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Jones is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Houdini locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Jones is forced to tap!
