Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Davi Miranda (ranked 5806 p4p, 4005 weight class) and Billy Dee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miranda kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Auditorium. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Davi Miranda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Dee!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miranda throws a lazy body kick
so Dee counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Dee looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Dee drops back looking for a leg! Miranda is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Miranda manages to kick Dee off! Dee jumps back into Miranda's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Miranda throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Dee escapes and throws Miranda's legs to the side, diving into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dee tries for a kimura but Miranda is defending well.
Dee decides to stand back up. Dee steps back and let's Miranda get back to his feet.
Dee moves into the clinch.
Dee is trying to trip Miranda. He has hold of a leg but Miranda is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Dee persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Dee cracks Miranda with a solid left hand.
Dee lands a couple of digs.
Dee seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Miranda looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Dee has picked Miranda up and slammed him! Miranda can't keep hold of the triangle and Dee manages to pass to side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Miranda really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Dee controls the position.
Miranda is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Dee is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Miranda tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The referee warns Miranda that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Miranda can't escape the position.
Dee sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Miranda is bucking up trying to escape but Dee cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Dee controlling his opponent.
Miranda is looking to get to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Miranda is working hard here to advance position.

Dee in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Dee looking to control and managing it successfully.
Miranda is looking to improve his position but Dee isn't that keen on the idea.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dee postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Miranda looks a forlorn figure.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Dee.
Oh Miranda is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Dee stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Miranda lands a head kick!
Dee lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Miranda is looking to close the distance but Dee sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Miranda crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Miranda is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
