The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diodorus shoots in and drives through. Abduallahi sprawls well.

Abduallahi clinches up with Diodorus and pushes him back against the cage.

Abduallahi wants the takedown. Diodorus is fighting it off but Abduallahi persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Diodorus's guard against the cage.
Abduallahi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Abduallahi wants to work for an arm triangle but Diodorus is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Diodorus has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Abduallahi is working away from the top position though.
Abduallahi is nestled in close to Diodorus, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Abduallahi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Diodorus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
