Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chicken Destroyer (ranked 2594 p4p, 25153 weight class) and Helen Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Destroyer has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Destroyer gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
The referee calls for Destroyer to work.
Salvacion drops down looking for an ankle pick but Destroyer pulls his leg out and moves away.

Destroyer is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Salvacion's half guard.

Destroyer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Salvacion's guard.

Destroyer connects with a good right hand that stumbles Salvacion. Salvacion circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Chicken Destroyer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Salvacion shoots in looking for a takedown. Destroyer tries to sprawl out of it but Salvacion keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Destroyer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Destroyer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Destroyer connects with a body shot that sends Salvacion's belly button to the back.

Destroyer lands a left and a right that send Salvacion crashing to the mat, dazed. Destroyer thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Helen Salvacion has been cut.
Destroyer displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Salvacion.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Salvacion.
As Salvacion looks to move away, Destroyer throws a big counter combo but Salvacion just gets out of the way.

Salvacion takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Chicken Destroyer is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Destroyer lands with a kick to the temple. Salvacion shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
