And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hebrew Noah!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Chris Dean and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noah takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Coe lands the left hand.
Noah throws a combination that misses
and Coe counters with a shoot takedown. Noah fights it but they end up in guard.
Noah looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Coe slips nicely into half guard.
Coe works his way into side control.
Coe has hold of Noah's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Noah tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Coe cranks the arm and Noah screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Noah, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). David Allan Coe!
