Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gunnar Bloodaxe (ranked 558 p4p, 708 weight class) and Kra Hang (ranked 82 p4p, 108 weight class). Hang is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by For Heavy Metal we will die!. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Gunnar Bloodaxe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kra Hang! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Hang. Bloodaxe does a little dance to reset his feet. Hang drops his hands momentarily and Bloodaxe takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Bloodaxe throws a leg kick that is checked and Hang counters with a one-two to the body. Bloodaxe has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Blacktalians MMA in the buildup to the fight. Bloodaxe lands a glancing blow to the side of Hang's head. Bloodaxe goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Bloodaxe throws out a powerful jab. Hang tries to clinch up but Bloodaxe circles away and keeps his distance. Hang takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Hang tries to clinch but Bloodaxe moves away enabling Bloodaxe to counter with a crisp jab. Bloodaxe misses with an uppercut
and Hang counters with a lovely straight right hand! This has been an exciting period of action! Good leg kick by Bloodaxe. Oooooh!!! Hang has knocked Bloodaxe down with a huge combo! Hang steps away and waves a wobbly Bloodaxe back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Gunnar Bloodaxe has been cut. Hang takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Oh Bloodaxe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's one minute gone in the round. Bloodaxe throws a jab when Hang was well out of range. Bloodaxe seems to have got his legs back now. Bloodaxe fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hang. Good leg kick by Bloodaxe. Bloodaxe throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hang on the side of the head. Hang moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Bloodaxe throws a leg kick that is checked and Hang counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Hang keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bloodaxe. Hang feints a counter leg kick. Bloodaxe tries to land a leg kick but Hang saw it coming and moves away.
Bloodaxe throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Hang moves out of range as Bloodaxe strikes. Jab by Hang. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bloodaxe, as that shot connected.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed right hand from Bloodaxe misses the target. Hang moves out of range as Bloodaxe strikes. Hang has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Bloodaxe. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hang throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hang has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Bloodaxe throws a front kick aimed at Hang's knee but Hang avoids it well. Hang shapes to counter with a head kick. Hang uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bloodaxe. Bloodaxe throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Hang rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bloodaxe moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hang takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Hang steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bloodaxe. Hang counters with a body kick. Bloodaxe jabs at Hang's body. Bloodaxe throws a right hand that misses
and Hang counters with an inside leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hang misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bloodaxe delivers a nice body kick. Bloodaxe misses with a leg kick. Bloodaxe shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Bloodaxe moves away from the strike by Hang. Hang tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bloodaxe paws at him with a jab and circles away. A looping hook to the body misses from Bloodaxe. Bloodaxe's corner calls for a 1-2. Bloodaxe obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Gunnar Bloodaxe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bloodaxe blocks a jab. Bloodaxe fakes the leg kick and cracks Hang in the body. Bloodaxe throws a lazy uppercut
and Hang counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bloodaxe jabbing away but nothing is landing. Hang is looking for the big counter here. Bloodaxe is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Bloodaxe throws a hook but Hang avoids it easily. Bloodaxe scores with a jab to the body. Bloodaxe connects with a jab. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hang lands with a straight right. Bloodaxe didn't see that one coming. Hang takes a jab right on the kisser.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bloodaxe misses with a hook

Gunnar Bloodaxe dominated that round. The cut man is working on Gunnar Bloodaxe's cut. That's time! Bloodaxe's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Hang misses with a right hand and Bloodaxe connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A left lands for Bloodaxe. Hang tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bloodaxe swats him away and circles back towards the center. Bloodaxe misses with a body shot
and Hang counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Hang tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bloodaxe paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bloodaxe moves out of range of the strikes. Bloodaxe wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Bloodaxe throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hang on the side of the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hang takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Bloodaxe throws a looping overhand right but Hang ducks down to avoid it. Bloodaxe throws an overhand right that lands on Hang's shoulder, as Hang tries to avoid the shot. A left lands for Bloodaxe. Hang takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Bloodaxe looks to throw the jab but Hang is out of range. Bloodaxe bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A low kick from Bloodaxe misses letting Hang counter with a right hand. Bloodaxe ducks under a wild hook from Hang. Bloodaxe appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Hang shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Bloodaxe scores with a jab to the jaw. Bloodaxe dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bloodaxe missing with a left hand there. Hang was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bloodaxe rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hang cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Bloodaxe throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Bloodaxe is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hang can do to turn this around? Nice defenses there by Bloodaxe. Bloodaxe feints and then cracks Hang's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hang down. Bloodaxe looks to throw a body kick and Hang counters with a nice uppercut. Bloodaxe keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Bloodaxe misses with a leg kick and Hang counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Hang wants to clinch up but Bloodaxe keeps it at a distance. Bloodaxe lands a front kick. Hang moves out of range as Bloodaxe strikes. Bloodaxe ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hang tries to clinch but Bloodaxe moves out of range. Hang has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Bloodaxe misses with a body shot.
Bloodaxe swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Despite the aggression on Hang's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Bloodaxe misses with the body kick and Hang counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Hang scores with a sloppy right hand. Bloodaxe should have avoided that one. Bloodaxe misses with a lunging right hand
and Hang counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Bloodaxe badly! He tries to strike back but Hang puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Bloodaxe out cold! Oh man, Bloodaxe will never hear the end of this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kra Hang! An out of breath Kra Hang thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
