Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, D.D Panda!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
P Cruz throws a right and a left that both miss.
P Cruz throws a half hearted mid kick.
P Cruz throws a head kick that misses
and Panda counters with a single leg into guard. P Cruz didn't expect that.
P Cruz wants to get back to his feet but Panda passes into half guard.
P Cruz is looking to control Panda's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can P Cruz avoid being mounted?
Panda seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but P Cruz does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

P Cruz is trying to stand back up but Panda is controlling him
Panda wants to work for an arm triangle but P Cruz is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
P Cruz has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Panda is working away from the top position though.

P Cruz is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Panda has latched onto it... Big trouble! Panda pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it P Cruz is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Panda!
