PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thanatos Tyranis (ranked 4419 p4p, 4567 weight class) and Hindu Kush (ranked 154 p4p, 156 weight class). Hindu Kush told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Tyranis throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kush is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Tyranis with a body shot.

Tyranis has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Hindu Kush seems to be getting the better of the standup.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Tyranis might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Hindu Kush comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kush has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
