Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alexan Gevorgyan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Dinklage!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dinklage darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Dinklage working the head and body with strikes.
Dinklage is taking a breather. Gevorgyan says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
It looks like Dinklage might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Dinklage has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at The Jungle Room. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Dinklage is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Dinklage has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dinklage winds up and cracks Gevorgyan with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Dinklage scores with a big shot! Gevorgyan's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Gevorgyan! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Dinklage!
Dan Dinklage seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
