Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Dier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lathem McGuire!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dier bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Dier throws a hook to the side of McGuire's head but McGuire sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dier dips to his left and cracks McGuire with an uppercut!
Dier takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Dier does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Dier wants to land a leg kick but McGuire is out of range.
McGuire connects with the punch.
It looks like Eric Dier has been cut.
McGuire has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
McGuire delivers a nice body kick.
The fighters circling - Dier throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
McGuire scores with a kick to the midsection.
Dier misses with an uppercut. McGuire saw that one coming.
Dier shoots and misses
and McGuire counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McGuire moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
McGuire lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dier at a distance.
Dier is breathing heavily.
Dier throws a shot from downtown. McGuire moves away and avoids it.
Dier misses with a low kick.
McGuire delivers a nice body kick.
Dier moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
A low kick from Dier is predictable there
and McGuire counters with a monster head kick that knocks Dier out cold! He topples like fallen a tree, crashing to the mat! Timbeeeeeerrr!
