Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iwon Raczynski (ranked 2235 p4p, 1242 weight class) and Uwe Eggert (ranked 293 p4p, 170 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Iwon Raczynski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Uwe Eggert! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eggert tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Eggert throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Eggert waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Raczynski. Raczynski uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Good exchange - Eggert coming out on top. Eggert throws a body punch but Raczynski moves out of range. Eggert changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. A left and a right from Eggert both land. Nice combination. Raczynski misses with an uppercut. Raczynski keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Raczynski seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Eggert tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Eggert fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Raczynski manages to avoid it. The fighters circle momentarily. Eggert darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

A cross from Eggert lands. Raczynski clobbers Eggert with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Raczynski uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Eggert. Eggert throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Eggert changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Raczynski throws a lazy head kick and Eggert counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Raczynski wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Raczynski misses the shot to the body. Raczynski throws a head kick but Eggert moves out of range.

Raczynski feinted there with a counter leg kick. Eggert connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Eggert has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Raczynski, as that shot connected.

It looked like Raczynski wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Eggert throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Raczynski thuds a left hand into Eggert's body. Eggert is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Eggert ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Raczynski rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Eggert moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Eggert uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Raczynski.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Raczynski throws a hook but Eggert blocks it. Raczynski throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Eggert! But no joy. A slow jab from Raczynski misses its intended target. Raczynski lands a right hook to the body.

Eggert fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Raczynski manages to avoid it. Eggert cracks Raczynski with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Eggert comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Eggert misses with an uppercut. Raczynski paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Raczynski slips a jab and a cross from Eggert.
Eggert looks to throw the jab but Raczynski is out of range. Eggert swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Eggert lands a jab. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Uwe Eggert dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Raczynski avoids the body shot from Eggert.

Raczynski walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Raczynski misses with an uppercut. Eggert saw that one coming.
