Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eric Draven (ranked 1818 p4p, 2224 weight class) and Long Thai (ranked 227 p4p, 265 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 34 - 20 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Eric Draven!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 27 - 3, fighting out of Los Angeles, Long Thai!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Draven does no damage.
Eric Draven seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Draven pushes Thai up against the cage in a clinch.
Draven is trying to force a seperation but Thai has the dominant position.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Draven gets control of Thai's arms and successfully pulls guard. Draven will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Draven seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Thai really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Draven. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Thai wants to control from the top but Draven keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thai is posturing up here but Draven has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Thai tries to roll out but it's too tight and Thai has to tap! Slick submission there by Draven!

A less than humble Eric Draven misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
