The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinks slips a straight right by Kapula .
It looked like Pinks was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Kapula .
Nice defenses there by Pinks.
That kick from Pinks tenderised Kapula 's leg. Kapula is trying to keep his angry face on.
Kapula connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Pinks's hands.
Pinks connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kapula throws a poor cross that misses
and Pinks counters with a stiff right hand.
Pinks uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kapula .

Pinks has been working on his boxing with his coaches at FIST OF FURY in the buildup to the fight.
Pinks slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Kapula throws the left hand but Pinks avoids the punch easily.
Kapula throws a right hand that misses
and Pinks counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kapula thinking.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pinks defending well as Kapula loads up on a big left hand.
Pinks is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Pinks attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Kapula throws a hook to the side of Pinks's head but Pinks sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

It looks like Tris Kapula has been cut.

Pinks does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Pinks shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Kapula rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Pinks counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Tris Kapula seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pinks ducks under a wild hook from Kapula .
Kapula throws an off balance right hand

and Pinks counters with a crisp right hand that drops Kapula ! Pinks lets Kapula back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Kapula is rocked!
Pinks with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Kapula is still on wobbly legs! Can Pinks finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pinks throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Kapula might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Kapula misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Pinks rattles Kapula with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Kapula tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Pinks dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Kapula stiff and motionless on the mat!
