Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bert Newton (ranked 23374 p4p, 22911 weight class) and Jean Yves Theriault (ranked 531 p4p, 532 weight class). Theriault is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Klendathu drop. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bert Newton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jean Yves Theriault!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Theriault sends Newton crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Theriault is motioning to the referee to let Newton up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Newton is rocked!

Theriault wants to sweep here but Newton controlling him for the moment.

Newton tries to free his leg and advance position but Theriault is retaining full guard.
Newton thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Theriault wants to stand and escape but Newton is having none of it.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Newton really is a fat lump.

Are you kidding me?! Theriault ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Newton clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
