Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hansel Hansel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hansel shoots for a takedown but Mac saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Mac misses with a low kick.
Mac throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hansel. Mac throws a right and a left that both miss. Mac keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Hansel goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Hansel blocks a head kick by Mac.
Mac shoots in and bounces Hansel off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Hansel bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mac's guard. Hansel trying to control but Mac is working from the bottom. Mac tries to land a sweep but no joy. Mac is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hansel is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hansel pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mac is keeping the position for now. Mac is looking for a triangle here but Hansel uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Mac can't do much from the bottom here. Hansel is chipping away with strikes.
Mac is not content to let Hansel control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Mac throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Mac throws a series of punches but Hansel avoids them all with ease. Mac fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Hansel is out of range. Hansel drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Hansel trying to control the position but Mac is working away. Hansel gets to mount! Mac was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mac can't escape the position.
Hansel lands a nice shot to the head. Hansel controlling the pace for now. Mac tries to reverse the position but Hansel maintains control. Mac is breathing heavily. Hansel tries to control but Mac wriggling away. Mac is desperately trying to improve his position but Hansel has a good base and remains in mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mac is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Hansel scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Hansel pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Mac is in all sorts of trouble here.
Mac really wants to buck Hansel off and get back to his feet. Hansel jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Mac manages to avoid the submission attempt. Hansel landing strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hansel Hansel dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Hansel has his takedown stuffed and Mac counters with a good low kick that Hansel was not able to check. Mac is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hansel. Mac steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hansel. Mac fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Mac takes one to the side of the head.
Hansel looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Mac pushes Hansel off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mac misses with a double jab.
Mac shoots in but no luck this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hansel tries to clinch but Mac is having none of it. Hansel circles away from the clinch attempt and Hansel counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Hansel is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Hansel breaks from the clinch.
Hansel gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily so Mac counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Charlie Mac has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hansel Hansel. Hansel is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mac content to stall in guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hansel keeping full guard, as Mac tries to pass. Hansel has a closed guard, preventing Mac from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mac postures up.
Hansel wriggles free and stands up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mac wants to clinch and Hansel counters with a nice leg kick. Hansel lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Excellent takedown into side control there by Mac. Mac goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Hansel has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Mac but great work by Hansel. Mac sneaks out the side door and pushes Hansel away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Mac closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Mac is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hansel is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hansel is controlling Mac's trapped leg to prevent Mac from advancing to side control. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mac connects with a nice short shot to Hansel's temple. Mac postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Hansel to stand up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mac is looking to score with low kicks. Hansel fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Mac drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Charlie Mac dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Mac looks to land a combination. Hansel sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Mac moves into the clinch. Hansel tries to pull guard but Mac holds him up against the cage and eventually Hansel drops back down to his feet.
Mac tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Hansel blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Mac wants to get back to striking at distance but Hansel won't allow it.
Hansel manages to break the clinch.
Hansel has his takedown stuffed and Mac counters with a leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mac misses with a hook to the body
and Hansel counters with a two punch combo. Hansel doesn't succeed with the takedown and Mac counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Charlie Mac has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hansel Hansel. Mac breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mac darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Mac decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Hansel misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Mac shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Mac unloading with bombs! Hansel is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Hansel wants to control but Mac is having none of it. Mac tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hansel tries to hold on but Mac pushes him away. Mac lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Hansel holds on, trying desperately to control. Mac jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Hansel manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hansel keeps Mac under control for a moment. Hansel is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Mac tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mac has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Hansel takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
And that's the end of the fight! Charlie Mac showed his dominance in that final round. I think Mac has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
