Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aahad Moustaffa (ranked 1123 p4p, 2184 weight class) and Gervonta Davis (ranked 159 p4p, 257 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Moustaffa might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Robot Stop by King Gizard & The Lizard Wizard. Davis has chosen Unstoppable - Gervonta Davis ▶ Motivation as his entrance music. Gervonta Davis is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aahad Moustaffa!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gervonta Davis!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moustaffa takes one to the chin there.
Davis staying out of range there.
Davis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Moustaffa manages to avoid it.
Moustaffa was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Davis swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Moustaffa staying out of range there.
Davis looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Davis throws a jab but it's blocked by Moustaffa.
It looked like Moustaffa was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Davis.
Davis misses with a right hand
and Moustaffa counters with a nice uppercut.
Davis is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Moustaffa.
Davis misses with a wild combination.
Moustaffa is looking to counter punch.
Moustaffa uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Davis has time to react.
Davis uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Moustaffa.
Moustaffa slips a jab from Davis.
A big right from Davis misses.
Moustaffa is looking to counter with head kicks.
We've been told by Moustaffa's head coaches at House of 1000 Corpses that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Moustaffa dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Davis. That did some damage!
Davis lands with a shot to the body.
Davis misses with a looping right.
Moustaffa misses with the combination.
Davis fails to land with a series of punches.
Davis avoids the body shot from Moustaffa.
Davis lands a left and a right that send Moustaffa crashing to the mat, dazed. Davis thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Moustaffa is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Davis lands with a good body shot.
Oh Moustaffa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Davis throws a lazy right hand but Moustaffa sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Moustaffa moves away from the strike by Davis.
A little feinted left hand from Moustaffa on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Davis throws a shot from downtown. Moustaffa moves away and avoids it.
Moustaffa seems to have got his legs back now.
Moustaffa get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Moustaffa stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Davis runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gervonta Davis!
Gervonta Davis is the new lightweight champion!
A relieved looking Gervonta Davis thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
