Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mr Mojo Risin (ranked 889 p4p, 799 weight class) and Ivan Kamenev (ranked 133 p4p, 120 weight class). Risin comes into the arena with L.A. Woman blaring out of the sound system. Mr Mojo Risin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mr Mojo Risin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ivan Kamenev! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Risin rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
so Kamenev counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Kamenev trying to control the position from guard on top but Risin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kamenev controls from within his opponent's guard. Kamenev advances position into side control! Kamenev sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Risin is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Risin gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Kamenev wants to take a breather but Risin is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kamenev frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Kamenev working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Kamenev is working for a guillotine from mount but Risin frees his head quite easily.
Kamenev tries to control but Risin wriggling away. Kamenev jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Risin manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Risin gets back to half guard. Risin is doing well to control the position and prevent Kamenev from advancing to side control. Kamenev wants to work for an arm triangle but Risin is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kamenev sitting and controlling from the half guard. Kamenev wants to control but Risin is keeping him busy. Kamenev is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Risin regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Kamenev tries to free his leg and advance position but Risin is retaining full guard. Kamenev throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Risin works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Risin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Risin throws out a token jab with nothing on it. And Kamenev tries to counter it with a takedown but Risin pushes his down on his head and steps out. Risin throws a low kick but Kamenev avoids it. Kamenev avoids the body shot from Risin.

Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Risin lands the left hand. Kamenev keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Risin. Risin takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ivan Kamenev dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! Risin just misses with a punch to the body.
Kamenev checks a leg kick nicely. A punch lands to the side of Risin 's head but he takes it in his stride. Kamenev misses with a right hand letting Risin counter with a right hand. Kamenev blocks a head kick by Risin.
Risin takes a swing at Kamenev's ribcage but misses. Risin misses with a wild body shot. Kamenev will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Sloppy strikes there by Kamenev.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kamenev is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Risin is trying to escape and Kamenev transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Risin is forced to tap! Nice work there by Kamenev! Very nice indeed!
