Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hanzo Hattori (ranked 6081 p4p, 4328 weight class) and Tuima Tuijottaja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tuijottaja closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Tuijottaja manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Hattori thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Hattori drops back looking for a leg! Tuijottaja is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tuijottaja manages to kick Hattori off! Hattori jumps back into Tuijottaja 's guard.
Tuijottaja is trying to control the position but Hattori postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hattori drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Tuijottaja manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hattori has Tuijottaja in his guard.
Hattori working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tuijottaja doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Hattori is tightening it up a little... Tuijottaja has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Tuijottaja reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Tuijottaja taps out! Nice BJJ there by Hattori!
