And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 2 losses; Bea Mason!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Russell Pearce and Lou da Vinci.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Hall stuffs the takedown attempt from Mason. Mason gets slowly back to his feet.
Hall tries to counter with a takedown but Mason is quick to defend against it.
Mason dives in for a single leg takedown but Hall sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Hall closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mason's guard.

Mason can't keep his opponent in guard - Hall advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Hall controlling the pace.
Hall has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mason has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hall is working away from the top position though.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hall in particular looking to stall.
Mason is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Hall is taking a breather. Mason says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Hall is pressing down on Mason's thigh, looking to free his foot. Mason is holding on for now.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Mason tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Hall sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Hall will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Mason tries to hold on but Hall postures up.

Hall seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mason for as long as he can get away with.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mason is in all sorts of trouble here.
Mason tries to hold on but Hall pushes him away.

If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Hall is stinking the place up with his stalling.

Mason rolls, trying to escape but Hall keeps control of the position.

Hall working for a choke but Mason is defending well.
Hall controlling the position well here. Mason rolled but Hall kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mason looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Hall just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Hall is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Mason tries to escape but Hall has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Mason manages to reverse the position and now he's in Hall's guard. Nice work there by Mason.

Mason is fighting to break Hall's control of his arms but Hall is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Mason wants to control from the top but Hall keeps moving.
Hall seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

And that's the end of the fight!
Hall takes the fight on points by 8 to 2.
