The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Memmedov did well to prevent Thompson getting side control.
Thompson looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
It looks like Mohammed Memmedov has been cut.
Memmedov is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Thompson scores with a couple of nice shots.
