Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cat McHatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TUPAC WESTsideKING (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McHatt comes to the cage accompanied by MAINEIAC. WESTsideKING comes into a darkened arena with his song building. knocking nizzas on their asses with this HEAT kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! TUPAC WESTsideKING has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, TUPAC WESTsideKING! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Russell Pearce and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McHatt has WESTsideKING up against the cage in a clinch.
McHatt jumps guard and drags WESTsideKING to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. McHatt controlling the position. McHatt is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
McHatt preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. WESTsideKING postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. McHatt has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. WESTsideKING really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McHatt. McHatt utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. WESTsideKING throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as McHatt works some decent striking defense from the bottom. WESTsideKING in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. WESTsideKING tries to clinch up. McHatt tries to score a power double leg takedown but WESTsideKING sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten McHatt somewhat. McHatt keeps the fight on the outside. WESTsideKING clinches with his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. WESTsideKING throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

WESTsideKING's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. McHatt shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches WESTsideKING napping and manages to drive through into side control! WESTsideKING is trying to buck McHatt off. McHatt remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. McHatt looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

WESTsideKING lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McHatt circles away quickly and effectively. WESTsideKING tries to clinch but fails miserably and McHatt cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. McHatt has managed to clinch.
McHatt avoids a wild elbow strike from WESTsideKING. McHatt gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, WESTsideKING regains guard.

WESTsideKING clinches but McHatt breaks the clinch and McHatt counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. WESTsideKING wants to improve his position but instead McHatt has moved into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. McHatt has hold of WESTsideKING's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and WESTsideKING manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
WESTsideKING tries to get back to half guard but can't. McHatt looking for a guillotine from mount but WESTsideKING is having none of it. WESTsideKING sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. WESTsideKING punching from the bottom.
McHatt takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. WESTsideKING throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

McHatt takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. McHatt perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. WESTsideKING tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. WESTsideKING closes the distance looking to clinch and McHatt counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. McHatt drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. WESTsideKING throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. WESTsideKING tries to buck McHatt off but McHatt is having none of it. McHatt has hold of WESTsideKING's arm. He's looking for a kimura. WESTsideKING seems comfortable defending it but McHatt has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! WESTsideKING is real pain and he's forced to tap out! WESTsideKING is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but McHatt couldn't care less - he's delighted!
