Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sss Sss (ranked 23958 p4p, 23959 weight class) and Sss Sss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sss Sss told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 37 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 30 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter A shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fighter B sprawls well. Fighter B wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fighter A gets slowly back to his feet. No luck for Fighter B with that takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B gets caught napping as Fighter A dives in and scores a takedown. Fighter B manages to retain guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A content to stall in guard here. Fighter A trying to stand up but can't free himself from Fighter B's guard. Fighter A won't allow Fighter B to sweep him here. Fighter A slips nicely into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Fighter A not landing any meaningful shots this time. Fighter B is holding on to half guard well. Fighter B wants to improve his position but Fighter A is controlling well.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Fighter B shoots in for a takedown but Fighter A shows good takedown defense. It appears Fighter A was looking to counter with a kick there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fighter A napping and manages to drive through into side control! Fighter A tries to get back to half guard but can't. Fighter B working away. Fighter B with the ground and pound but Fighter A regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Fighter B seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter A is trying to maintain the position but Fighter B is very close to passing his half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Sss Sss will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Fighter B drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Fighter A trying to keep a closed guard but Fighter B is proving a slippery customer.
Fighter B slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B wanted to stand there but Fighter A had control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B throws an elbow that misses. Fighter A uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fighter B's guard. Nice move by Fighter A! Fighter A is fighting to break Fighter B's control of his arms but Fighter B is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fighter B can do anything to dispel that myth.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Fighter B fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fighter A sprawls well initially but Fighter B persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Well, if Fighter B is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Sss Sss showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards. Fighter B shoots in for a takedown but Fighter A shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Fighter A jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Fighter A shoots in for a takedown but Fighter B shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Fighter A closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fighter B to the mat! Fighter B manages to get full guard. Fighter B trying to control the position here. Sss Sss has got the better of the ground game so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Fighter B is adopting a defensive guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fighter B wants to sweep here but Fighter A controlling him for the moment. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fighter A has his takedown stuffed so Fighter B counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A seems keen to control Fighter B's posture. Fighter B is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Fighter B is continuing to stall. Fighter B decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Fighter A, up you get!
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fighter B looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Fighter A closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fighter B circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sss Sss. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fighter A defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fighter B. Fighter A half committed to a counter leg kick. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fighter A is defended easily by Fighter B. Fighter B steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Sss Sss. I think Fighter B has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
