Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 23902 p4p, 6189 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 35 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 28 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter A gets a double leg takedown into Fighter B's guard. Fighter B is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Fighter B scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter A wants to control but Fighter B is keeping busy.
Fighter B controlling the action here. Fighter B blocks the strikes from Fighter A.
Fighter A keeping hold of Fighter B's head, controlling as best he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Well, if Fighter B is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Fighter B looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fighter B gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Fighter A throws a big elbow that misses. Fighter B wants to sweep here but Fighter A controlling him for the moment. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Xxx Xxx will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Horrible takedown attempt by Fighter B or perhaps it was just good defense by Fighter A, which made it look bad. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Fighter A shoots in but Fighter B avoids the takedown attempt easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B content to control rather than advance. Fighter A trying to control but Fighter B postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Fighter A is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Fighter B keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Fighter A is looking to control Fighter B's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Fighter A avoid being mounted?
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Fighter A tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fighter B swivels and escapes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A shoots in and drives through. Fighter B sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fighter B stuffs the takedown attempt from Fighter A. Fighter A gets slowly back to his feet. Fighter B feints and as Fighter A raises his hands in defense, Fighter B changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fighter B accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Fighter B being controlled here momentarily. Fighter B content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Fighter B's corner is telling him to maintain position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round! Fighter A shoots in for a double leg but Fighter B sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Fighter B looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. Fighter B scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Fighter B is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Fighter A will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Fighter A is trying to get back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B happy to just control the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Fighter A tries to get back to half guard but can't. Fighter B happy to just control the position for now. Fighter B has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. You can see the frustration on Fighter A's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Fighter A shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fighter B defends it nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Fighter B in side control, just content to control the action for now. Fighter B lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Fighter A down.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter A wants to control but Fighter B postures up. Fighter A is looking to regain half guard here but Fighter B keeps moving and retains side control. Fighter B controlling the position from side mount. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
And that's the end of the fight! Xxx Xxx comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Fighter B has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
