Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Declan Moss (ranked 4329 p4p, 2732 weight class) and Pedro Dantas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moss comes to the cage accompanied by Mercury. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Declan Moss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pedro Dantas!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Andrew Berry and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moss swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dantas.
Moss will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dantas steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Moss.

Dantas instigates a clinch.
Dantas keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Moss's efforts to push away.
Dantas fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Dantas jumps guard but Moss turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Moss tries to circle away but Dantas has him pinned against the cage.

Dantas manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Moss is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Dantas jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Moss walks away with a smile on his face. Dantas gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Dantas rushes Moss and presses him up against the cage.

Dantas drags the fight down to the ground.

Dantas has his foot on Moss's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Moss works his way back into a safe position though.
Moss throws an elbow that misses. Dantas uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Moss's guard. Nice move by Dantas!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dantas's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Moss wants to improve his position but instead Dantas has moved into half guard.

Dantas is working for a kimura but Moss is defending it quite comfortably.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Moss has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dantas is working away from the top position though.
Moss wants to get back to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Moss is looking for a sweep. Dantas is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Dantas is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Moss has managed to free his arm - good work.

Pedro Dantas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dantas's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Let's hope that Dantas has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Moss is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
