Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seelow Heights (ranked 4221 p4p, 3780 weight class) and Denis Denisov (ranked 186 p4p, 162 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Denis Denisov was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Seelow Heights! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 19 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Denis Denisov! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heights uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Denisov. Heights lands a nice looking body shot.

Denisov checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Denisov has managed to clinch.
Heights doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Heights lands a body punch. Heights swings wildly with an uppercut but Denisov uses good head movement to avoid it. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Heights. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Heights takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Denisov fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Heights tries to work over Denisov's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Denisov wants a takedown.
Denisov has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Heights is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Seelow Heights has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Denis Denisov. A short uppercut from Heights.
That's one minute gone in the round. Heights misses with a hook from the clinch. Denisov jumps guard and drags Heights to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Denisov throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Heights has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Denisov doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Heights throws a head kick but Denisov moves out of range.
Denisov is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A leg kick checked by Denisov. Seelow Heights seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Heights misses the shot to the body. Heights misses with the combination.
Denisov let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Heights tries to bum rush Denisov with a series of wild strikes but Denisov uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Heights misses with a body shot.
Heights wants to clinch but Denisov slips to the side and Denisov counters with a stiff right hand. A nice leg kick lands there from Heights. The fighters circling - Heights throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Heights looks to land a right hand but Denisov moved out of range. Denisov moves in looking to clinch but Heights pushes him off. Heights misses with a two punch combination.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Denisov tries to clinch there but Heights circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Denisov throws a wild combination but nothing lands. The fight stays on the outside here - Denisov looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Denisov looks for a takedown but Heights sprawls well. Denisov fails to land the takedown. Heights misses with an attempted mid kick.
Heights darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Heights misses with a double jab.
Jab, jab by Heights - just one landing. Denisov tries to clinch but Heights is having none of it. Denisov lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Heights backs up against the cage.
Heights throws a right and a left that both miss. Heights misses with a head kick.

and Denisov counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Heights is looking to wear down Denisov with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Denisov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Heights defends well and Denisov ends up having to push Heights into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Heights throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Denisov bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Heights waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Denisov. Denisov clinches with his opponent.
A short right from Heights on the inside. Denisov jumps guard but Heights turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Denisov tries to pull guard but Heights won't allow it.
Denisov has Heights pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Heights manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. The referee calls for Heights to work.

Denisov punching from the bottom - just letting Heights know he's still in a fight. Denisov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Seelow Heights dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Denisov's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Heights connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Denisov scrambles back to his feet. Heights lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Denisov circles away quickly and effectively. Heights lands a left and a right that send Denisov crashing to the mat, dazed. Heights thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Denisov is rocked!
It looks like Denis Denisov has been cut. Heights drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Denisov right on the button. Denisov goes down! Heights follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Heights gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Seelow Heights! A very excited looking Seelow Heights made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
