Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Anthony Pemberton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bruno Miranda!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pemberton misses with a body punch
and Miranda counters with a left to the body.
Pemberton looks to score with a jab to the body but Miranda is just out of range.
Pemberton uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Miranda.
Pemberton looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Miranda throws a shot from downtown. Pemberton moves away and avoids it.
It looked like Pemberton wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Miranda scores with a nice strike.
Pemberton scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Miranda doesn't seem bothered though.
Miranda connects with a looping right hand.
Pemberton swings widly with a right hand
and Miranda cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Miranda lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Miranda ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Miranda ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pemberton moves away.
Pemberton swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Pemberton lands with an uppercut that bounces Miranda off the cage and back into range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Miranda scores with a jab to the jaw.
Miranda walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Pemberton checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Miranda throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pemberton on the side of the head.
Pemberton throws a series of punches but Miranda moves out of range.
Miranda throws a front kick that sends Pemberton stumbling back into the cage.
Miranda lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Pemberton backs up against the cage.
Miranda slips a jab from Pemberton.
Miranda throws a sloppy body shot
and Pemberton counters with a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pemberton thows a left - swing and a miss!
Miranda cracks Pemberton with a right hand to the side of the head.
Pemberton is rocked!
Miranda fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Pemberton to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Pemberton looks to clinch but Miranda throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Pemberton taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
