Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Minerva Wulf (ranked 733 p4p, 1990 weight class) and Aleksi Heimo (ranked 38 p4p, 110 weight class). Wulf comes into the arena with Sanctus Dominus blaring out of the sound system. Aleksi Heimo will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aleksi Heimo!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heimo swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Wulf.
Aleksi Heimo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Heimo takes one on the button.
Heimo throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Heimo throws the left hand but Wulf avoids the punch easily.
Wulf seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Wulf tries to clinch up but Heimo circles away and keeps his distance.
Wulf takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Heimo lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Wulf has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Wulf and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Wulf lands a really nice looking cross but Heimo seems unphased.

Wulf throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Heimo was covering up waiting for the punch and Wulf finishes the takedown easily into guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Wulf's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
