The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crenshaw is looking to clinch but riformato is avoiding it.
Crenshaw lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
riformato gets a takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
riformato is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Crenshaw doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time riformato.

Crenshaw pushes riformato off looking to stand but riformato dives back in and keeps control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
riformato prevents Crenshaw from improving his position.
Crenshaw is trying to stand back up but riformato is controlling him
riformato is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Crenshaw is just riding it out for now. riformato eventually gives up the hold.
