Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Theseus Jax (ranked 4304 p4p, 4414 weight class) and Ricky Peyton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Theseus Jax! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ricky Peyton! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Bruno Lombardi and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peyton takes a jab right on the kisser.
Jax tries to clinch but Peyton is having none of it. Jax connects with a jab. Jax lands a nice shot that snaps Peyton's head back.
Donk. Jax catches Peyton right on the button with a cross. Jab by Jax. Nice sprawl there from Jax as Peyton shoots in. Jax gets caught flat footed, as Peyton shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Peyton sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jax's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nice strikes from Peyton there. Peyton is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jax sees it coming and defends easily. Peyton tries to stand but can't do so whilst Jax controls his leg. Jax wants to improve his position but Peyton is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peyton wants to control but Jax is keeping him busy. Jax is trying to get back to full guard. Peyton not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Jax wants to control but Peyton is keeping busy.
Jax is not content to let Peyton control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Peyton wants to stand but Jax has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Peyton passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Jax! Peyton tries to control but Jax wriggling away. Jax knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Peyton on the ground. Jax taking shots to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peyton unloads with some shots from mount but Jax bucks and avoids them well.
Peyton wants to control the pace but Jax is squirming around nicely. Peyton misses with a head shot. Peyton landing strikes from the mount and Jax is in trouble! Peyton wants to control the pace but Jax is squirming around nicely. Peyton working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Jax looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Peyton! Submission of the night perhaps?
