Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Qing Wu (ranked 693 p4p, 1067 weight class) and John Bell (ranked 103 p4p, 152 weight class). John Bell has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Qing Wu's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Qing Wu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, John Bell! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wu was well out of range. Poor timing from Bell. Wu lands a nice shot to the body.
Wu lands a nice hook to Bell's body. Bell takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Bell throws a big shot that misses. Wu takes one to the chin there.
It looks like Qing Wu has been cut. Bell has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Wu misses with a hook. Bell looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Bell ducks under a wild hook from Wu. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wu looks to throw the jab but Bell is out of range. Bell swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bell throws a body punch but Wu moves out of range. It looked like Wu wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Bell throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Bell throws a body shot but no joy. Nice cross by Wu. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Wu, as that shot connected.
Wu lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Wu misses with a straight right. Bell takes a shot right to the bread basket. Wu's jab looks to have found its range, popping Bell under the eye. Wu swings away with a body shot that misses
and Bell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wu lands a big uppercut and Bell crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Bell looks OK. Wu waves Bell back to his feet! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bell swings and misses with a shot to the body and Wu rattles Bell with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Bell tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Wu dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Bell stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Qing Wu! Qing Wu was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
