Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Crosser (ranked 694 p4p, 595 weight class) and Shinichiro Tomonaga (ranked 81 p4p, 70 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, John Crosser! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Shinichiro Tomonaga! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crosser rushes Tomonaga and presses him up against the cage. Crosser throws a punch but it's blocked by Tomonaga. Crosser breaks from the clinch.
Tomonaga lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Crosser walks into a straight right hand from Tomonaga.
It looks like John Crosser has been cut. Crosser closes the distance and clinches. Tomonaga blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Crosser. Crosser lands with a short head shot on the inside. Tomonaga blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Crosser creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Crosser looking to throw knees to the head but Tomonaga is blocking nicely.
Tomonaga is leaning against Crosser and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Crosser's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Crosser keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Tomonaga's efforts to push away. Crosser definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Crosser breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tomonaga jabs Crosser to the body, keeping him at a distance. The fight moves into the clinch position. Crosser's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crosser wants to clinch and Tomonaga counters with a stiff right hand. Tomonaga lands with a shot to the body. Crosser misses with a right hand and Tomonaga counters with a left to the body. Crosser is breathing heavily. Good exchange - Tomonaga coming out on top. A left lands for Tomonaga.
Crosser is rocked! Crosser walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Tomonaga swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Shinichiro Tomonaga! Our winner, Shinichiro Tomonaga, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
