Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Broder Alert (ranked 2622 p4p, 3026 weight class) and Sein Win Pyae (ranked 298 p4p, 332 weight class). Broder Alert has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sein Win Pyae!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alert staying out of range there.
Pyae throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Alert counters by clinching up.
Pyae is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Alert to keep the fight standing.
Pyae fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Pyae tries to pull guard but Alert holds him up against the cage and eventually Pyae drops back down to his feet.
Alert definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Broder Alert has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sein Win Pyae.

Alert drags the fight down to the ground.
Alert pulls Pyae in close to his closed guard and prevents Pyae from doing any damage or advancing position.
Pyae tries to free his leg and advance position but Alert is retaining full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alert is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Pyae looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Alert uses his free foot to push down on Pyae's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Pyae.

Pyae keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Alert is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Pyae has managed to escape the submission attempt.
