Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sten Biller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Spence (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sten Biller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jay Spence!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biller misses with a head kick.

Biller moves into the clinch successfully.
Biller looking for a takedown.
Biller is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Biller goes for a takedown in the clinch but Spence prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sten Biller. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Biller keeps control of Spence as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Biller drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Spence jumps guard and drags Biller to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Biller won't allow Spence to get back to his feet.

Biller gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Spence wants to clinch.
Spence drops Biller with a nice combination! Spence dives into Biller's guard, looking to finish!


It looks like Sten Biller has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Biller wants to get back to his feet but Spence is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Spence is working Biller over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Biller looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Biller is breathing heavily.

Spence would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Biller has his foot on Spence's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Spence works his way back into a safe position though.
Biller wants to sweep here but Spence controlling him for the moment.
Biller has a closed guard, preventing Spence from standing up.

Biller is working an open guard so Spence takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Spence gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Biller drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Spence gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Spence ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Spence no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Spence has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Biller off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Biller gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Spence closes the distance and pushes Biller back into the cage.
Spence gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Biller.

Spence has clasped his hands together around Biller's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Spence stands up.
Spence pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Spence works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Biller swats away the attempt to clinch by Spence.
Spence misses with a series of wild punches.

Spence looks to land a combination but Biller avoids it well.
The fight stays on the outside here - Spence looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nice takedown defense from Spence. No joy for Biller on that attempt.

Spence is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Spence scores with a takedown into Biller's guard.
Spence wants to stand but Biller has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Biller wants to sweep but no luck.

Biller is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Spence stands and steps away. Biller gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Biller changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Spence tries to avoid it but Biller manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Spence to the ground. Spence escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Spence tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Biller scores a takedown into full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Spence is bucking up trying to escape but Biller cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Biller forces the positional change into back control.
Biller lands punches and elbows.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Biller is landing with strikes from the back.

Biller is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Spence has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jay Spence dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Sten Biller's cut.
That's time! Biller's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Spence cracks Biller with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Spence closes the distance but Biller moves to the side

and Biller counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Spence gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Spence wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Biller is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Spence pulls his head out easily.
Biller missing with punches from the bottom.
Biller makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Biller.
Biller tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Spence pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Biller is keeping the position for now.
Spence tries to stand but Biller is controlling from the bottom.
Biller manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Biller looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
You get the feeling that Spence really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Biller working for a guillotine from mount but Spence is in no mood to give up.
Spence is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Biller connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Biller lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Biller avoids the attempt from Spence to control.
Spence is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Biller wants to take Spence's back here but Spence is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Biller with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Spence misses with a jab, cross combination.
Biller closes the distance but Spence moves to the side

and Spence counters by moving into the clinch.

Biller shoots for a takedown but Spence saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Spence misses with a head kick.
Sten Biller is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Spence lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Biller circles away quickly and effectively.
Spence pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Spence looking to land some kicks to the body here.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Spence tries to close the distance and clinch up but Biller swats him away and circles back towards the center.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sten Biller. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Spence fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Biller misses with a takedown attempt - Spence sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Spence lands a glancing blow to the side of Biller's head.
Biller with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Spence to score with a decent uppercut.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Sten Biller's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Biller fails with the takedown
and Spence cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Biller shoots for a double leg takedown but Spence sprawls well. He's pushed Biller's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Spence plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Spence takes the fight into the clinch.

Spence pulls guard.
Biller is looking to stand up but Spence won't let him.
Biller stopping the sweep attempt from Spence.
Spence is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Biller is controlling him.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Biller wants to get up but he can't break Spence's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Spence holds on and takes a little breather.

Spence is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Biller has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Spence is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sten Biller. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Spence makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Sten Biller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Biller is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Biller thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Sten Biller overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Biller slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Spence wants to get back to his feet but Biller drags him back down.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Biller closes the distance and clinches up with Spence, looking for a takedown. Biller pushes Spence against the cage but Spence circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Biller avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Spence throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Spence closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Biller to the mat! Biller manages to get full guard.

Biller is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Biller bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Spence's guard.
Biller passes Spence's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Spence is defending against the submission attempts here by Biller.
Spence regains full guard. Nicely done.

Spence wants to get back to his feet but Biller is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Biller advances position into side control!
Spence is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Biller has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Biller wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Spence, who protects the arm well.

Biller thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sten Biller.
I think Biller has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
