Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Dye (ranked 220 p4p, 677 weight class) and Neil Parker (ranked 33 p4p, 95 weight class). Parker comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bring Me The Horizon - Obey kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jack Dye has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Dye! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Neil Parker! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker misses with the combination.
A counter left hand to the body from Dye misses its target. Parker connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Parker throws a right and a left that Dye avoids nicely. Dye definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Dye walks into a left hand. Parker takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Dye gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Parker connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dye. Dye circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Dye avoids a punch combination nicely.
Dye swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Parker throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dye counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Parker rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dye counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Parker thinking. Dye connects with the punch. Parker swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Dye cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Parker misses with a two punch combination.
Dye is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Parker lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Parker.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parker falls off balance throwing a combination
and Dye counters with a lovely shot to the body. Parker throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Dye counters with a lovely straight right hand! Parker pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Dye lunges at Parker with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Parker's hand. Parker's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Parker duly obliges. Dye lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Parker is rocked! Dye is looking to clinch. Parker with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dye to score with a decent uppercut. Parker is still on wobbly legs! Can Dye finish him? Dye darts in and out, connecting with a jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Parker misses with a left hand and Dye counters with a left to the body. Parker throws a right hand that misses
and Dye counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Parker throws a poor cross that misses
and Dye counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Parker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dye was well out of range. Poor timing from Parker. Dye fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Parker looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A punch combination from Parker misses. Parker takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Dye displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Parker throws out the jab. A quick step to the side and Dye tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Parker seems to have recovered his senses. Parker throws a series of punches but Dye avoids them all with ease. Parker takes one on the button. Parker misses with an uppercut. Dye saw that one coming. Dye thuds a left hand into Parker's body. Parker throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Dye to counter with a crisp jab. Dye cracks Parker with a right hand to the side of the head. Parker clobbers Dye with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Dye lands a nice shot to the body.

Neil Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Parker lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Parker throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Dye moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Parker might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A shot to the liver by Dye. Beautiful body shot. A combination from Parker does no damage. Dye avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A quick step to the side and Dye tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Parker takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Dye's corner calls for a 1-2. Dye obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Dye is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Parker closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Parker is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dye. It looked like Dye was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Parker. Left hook, right uppercut from Dye. Dye takes a body punch but keeps moving. We've been informed that Parker has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Parker looks to land a combination. Dye sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Parker throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Parker takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Dye bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Dye digs a good body shot into Parker's ribs. Parker misses with a left hand and Dye cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Parker fails to land with a series of punches.

and Dye counters with a beautiful punch that sends Parker to the canvas!
It looks like Neil Parker has been cut. Dye pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Parker is keeping the position for now. Dye is looking to stand up but Parker won't let him. Parker is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dye is controlling him. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Parker can do anything to dispel that myth. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Parker is wriggling around but Dye manages to pass to half guard.
Parker scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Dye manages to mount him!
Parker has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Dye dominated that round. The cut man is working on Neil Parker's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Dye closes the distance and clinches. Parker has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Dye scores with a shot to the side of Parker's head. Dye blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Dye's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Parker misses with a left hand and Dye counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Parker misses with a left hand and Dye counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Dye. Dye lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Dye creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Dye blocking some punches.

Dye is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Parker can do to turn this around? This has been an exciting period of action! Dye takes a shot to the head. Parker prevents a body shot from Dye. Dye misses with a hook from the clinch.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Dye takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Parker tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Parker lands with a short head shot on the inside. Dye goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parker pushes Dye back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Dye tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Parker's elbow. Dye blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Dye has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. A shot in the inside from Dye. Jack Dye dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Neil Parker's cut. That's time! Dye's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
Dye drops Parker with a big left hand and mounts him. Parker is in big trouble! Parker tries to buck Dye off but Dye takes his back! Parker is trying to stand back up. I would not like to be Parker right now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Parker wants to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Good control from Dye.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parker is trying to get back to his feet but Dye has full control of the position and if anything, Parker has just worked his way into a worse spot. Dye biding his time, looking for the opening.
Parker is trying to stand back up. Neil Parker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dye keeps control of the position easily here as Parker tries to buck him off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parker is trying to stand back up. I would not like to be Parker right now.
Parker is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dye controlling the position well here. Parker rolled but Dye kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Parker is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Dye showed his dominance in that final round. Well Dye has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
