Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Parkman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and rez chrome (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). rez chrome is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parkman gets a takedown into half guard.
Parkman is looking for a kimura but chrome is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Parkman to get the leverage.
Parkman is sneakily working for an arm triangle but chrome sees it coming and defends easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Parkman connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused chrome some visible discomfort.

Parkman throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
chrome manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

chrome passes the guard and advances to mount!
chrome goes for an armbar but Parkman turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Parkman.
Parkman stands up and waves to chrome to follow him.

Parkman looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for chrome!
chrome avoids a series of strikes thrown by Parkman.
Parkman gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Parkman moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Parkman shoots in and bounces chrome off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Parkman shoots for a double leg takedown but chrome sprawls well. He's pushed Parkman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Parkman has hold of chrome's hands but chrome slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Parkman is looking for a sweep. chrome is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
chrome takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Parkman looks like he's trying to stand up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
chrome lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
chrome feints and then cracks Parkman's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Parkman down.
No luck for Parkman with that takedown attempt.
chrome closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
chrome is working for a submission of some sort.
Parkman is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of chrome's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take chrome's back!
chrome tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
chrome flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

chrome should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Parkman lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Parkman is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

so chrome counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

rez chrome showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Parkman goes for a takedown in the clinch but chrome prevents it.
chrome is trying to drag Parkman to the mat but Parkman just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
chrome is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
chrome trying to stall but Parkman improves his position.

chrome is fighting off a takedown attempt but Parkman is just too persistent for him and manages to trip chrome to the mat. chrome regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

chrome closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Parkman tries to bench press chrome off him but chrome keeps the position.
chrome is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Parkman knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Parkman pushes chrome away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, chrome gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

chrome tries to close the distance and clinch up but Parkman swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and chrome counters with a nice double leg into side control. Parkman won't be happy with that.

chrome goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Parkman rolls with the submission and now he's on top in chrome's guard! Nice work there by Parkman!
Parkman looking to sit in guard and control but chrome gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
And that's the end of the fight!
rez chrome comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think chrome has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
