Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Mason Rogers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Yellow Belt Casey!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers misses with a right hand
and Casey counters with a nice kick to the body.
Rogers throws a head kick but Casey moves out of range.
Rogers closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Casey quickly recovers to half guard.
Casey is trying to get back to full guard.
Casey is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Rogers scores with a couple of nice shots.
Casey is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rogers seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Casey is looking for a sweep. Rogers is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Rogers wants to lay and pray for a moment but Casey keeps working.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Casey is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Rogers scores with a couple of nice shots.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Rogers in particular looking to stall.
Rogers tries to pass to full mount but Casey defends it.
Rogers is taking a breather. Casey says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Rogers drops an elbow to the side of Casey's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Casey has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rogers is working away from the top position though.

Rogers is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Casey sees it coming and defends easily.
Casey tries to roll over but Rogers keeps him under control.
Casey is trying to maintain the position but Rogers is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Casey misses the shot to the body.
Rogers swings away with a body shot that misses
and Casey counters with a series of strikes. Rogers will be more careful next time no doubt.
Rogers fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Casey is out of range.
Rogers scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Rogers misses with a low kick.
Casey blocks a low kick nicely.
Rogers fails in his attempt to clinch.
Casey tries to bum rush Rogers with a series of wild strikes but Rogers uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rogers dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Casey. That did some damage!

Rogers takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Mason Rogers dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Rogers goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Casey rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Rogers's guard! Nice work there by Casey!
Casey passes Rogers's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Casey wants to work for an arm triangle but Rogers is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Casey is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Casey passes the guard and advances to mount!
Rogers is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Casey working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Rogers tries to lock up and control but Casey gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Mason Rogers overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Rogers tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Rogers wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Casey wants to control but Rogers is keeping busy.

Casey is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Rogers with him. Rogers is trying to defend but Casey has an arm under the chin now! Rogers grimaces and is forced to tap out!
