This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 4 losses; Everett Arroyo! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 31 wins and 33 losses; Pacer Dalton! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Matheus Silva and Edson Gomes.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Dalton stuffs the takedown. Dalton dives in and grabs Arroyo's left leg, looking for a takedown. That's twelve minutes gone in the round. It looks like Dalton might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dalton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dalton manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
And that's the end of the fight! Dalton wins on points by 7 to 4. During a confident post fight interview, Pacer Dalton thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him. |
