The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy body kick from Philippe
and Kraag counters with a left to the body.
Philippe rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kraag moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kraag misses with a body shot
and Philippe counters with a nice uppercut.

and Philippe counters with a stiff right hand.
Philippe tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kraag paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Philippe has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Philippe is pressed up against the cage. Kraag has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Philippe down to the mat. Philippe avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Philippe cracks Kraag with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Philippe has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kraag to stand back up!

Kraag get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Kraag stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Philippe runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
