Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Brand (ranked 2503 p4p, 2015 weight class) and Kevin Brockington (ranked 88 p4p, 71 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 24 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Daniel Brand! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 17 - 16 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Kevin Brockington! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brockington takes a shot right to the bread basket. Brockington keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Brockington changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Brockington has his takedown stuffed and Brand counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Kevin Brockington has been cut. Brockington doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Brand misses with a straight right. Brockington has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Brand misses with an uppercut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brockington shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Brand counters with a stiff right hand. Brand throws a big shot that misses. That's one minute gone in the round. Brockington looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Brand throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Brand stuffs the takedown. Daniel Brand is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Brockington shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Brand as he avoids it easily. Nice jab there from Brand. Brockington ducks under a wild hook from Brand. And Brockington tries to counter it with a takedown but Brand pushes his down on his head and steps out. Brand lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Brand misses with a looping left. Brand throws a hook to the side of Brockington's head but Brockington sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Brand throws an overhand right that lands on Brockington's shoulder, as Brockington tries to avoid the shot. A swing and a miss from Brand. And Brockington tries to counter it with a takedown but Brand pushes his down on his head and steps out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brand swings for the body but Brockington moves out of range.
Brand throws a hook but Brockington avoids it easily. Brand scores with a nice strike. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Brockington blocks a jab. Brand misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Brockington.
Daniel Brand seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brockington misses with a takedown and Brand counters with a left hand that sends Brockington to the canvas!
Brockington is rocked! Brand will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Brand postures up.
Brockington is still in real trouble! Can Brand finish him? Brockington working for a triangle but Brand defends it easily.
Brockington seems to have recovered his senses. Brand stands and steps away. Brockington gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Brand lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Brand throws a series of punches but Brockington moves out of range. Brand throws a jab but it's blocked by Brockington. Brand lands a nice hook to Brockington's body. Brockington takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. The fighters circle momentarily. Brand darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Brand throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Brockington misses with a takedown attempt and Brand counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brockington slips under a jab. Brockington misses with a takedown attempt - Brand sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Brand misses with a double jab.
Brand leaves Brockington with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Brand tries to bum rush Brockington with a series of wild strikes but Brockington uses good footwork to avoid the assault. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brand waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Brockington. Brockington scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Brand is trying to stand up here but Brockington is controlling him well. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Brand dominated that round. The cut man is working on Kevin Brockington's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Brand throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Brockington shoots in and drives through. Brand sprawls well. Brockington avoids a punch combination nicely.

Sloppy strikes from Brand. Those never looked like landing. Kevin Brockington is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Brockington shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Brand as he avoids it easily. An attempted straight right counter from Brand misses the target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brockington looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brand is fending him off so far but Brockington persists. Nope, Brand circles away and we're back to standing. Daniel Brand has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Brockington. Brockington fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Brockington shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Brand counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brockington closes the distance and clinches up with Brand, looking for a takedown. Brockington pushes Brand against the cage but Brand circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Brand cracks Brockington with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Brockington avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Brand connects with a single shot there. Brand is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Brand swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Brockington slips under a jab. Brand takes a swing at Brockington's ribcage but misses. A little jabbing left from Brockington on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Brockington uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Brand. Brand throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Brockington changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Brand scores with a hook to the body. Brockington takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Brand wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Brockington uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brand lands with a nice combination. Brockington backs away looking to recover. Brockington looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Brand throws a jab when Brockington was well out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brockington shoots in for a takedown but Brand shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Brockington closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Brockington is defended easily by Brand. Brand takes a swing at Brockington's ribcage but misses. And Brockington tries to counter it with a takedown but Brand pushes his down on his head and steps out. Brockington shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Brand as he avoids it easily. Brockington tries to score a power double leg takedown but Brand sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brockington somewhat. Brockington shoots for a takedown but Brand saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Brand was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brand throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Brand misses with a few strikes there.
Brockington takes a shot right to the bread basket. Brand is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Brockington like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Brockington from another fist facial!
