Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leonardo Narushima (ranked 956 p4p, 1086 weight class) and Luka Marka (ranked 29 p4p, 37 weight class). Narushima comes to the cage accompanied by Chemistry - Heartbeat (Deepforces Remix). Marka has chosen HADES as his entrance music. Luka Marka is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Leonardo Narushima !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Luka Marka!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Narushima throws a jab when Marka was well out of range.
Marka changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Narushima throws a hook but Marka blocks it.

Marka throws a predictable looking body shot
and Narushima counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Marka scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Narushima sends Marka crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Narushima is motioning to the referee to let Marka up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Marka lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Narushima throws out a loose jab but Marka uses good head movement to avoid it.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Marka might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Narushima has got the better of the exchanges.

No joy there for Marka, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Narushima takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Luka Marka showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Narushima is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Narushima is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Narushima on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Narushima tries to get out of the position.

Narushima pulls Marka in close to prevent any damage.
Narushima has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Narushima cracks Marka with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Marka looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Narushima finish him?

Narushima quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Marka misses with a looping left.
Narushima swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Marka fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Narushima manages to avoid it.
Marka on the wrong end of a nice jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

We've been told by Narushima 's head coaches at KFA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
