Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 24 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juraj Divisek! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 12 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Roman Ship! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ship moves into the clinch. A hook to the body from Divisek.
Ship manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Divisek wants to control from the top but Ship keeps moving. Divisek engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Divisek trying to control but Ship is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ship looking for submissions from the bottom here. That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ship keeping full guard, as Divisek tries to pass. Ship keeping moving, preventing Divisek from controlling successfully. Divisek sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Ship fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ship shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Divisek sprawls well. Divisek wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ship gets slowly back to his feet. Divisek is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Ship. Ship changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Divisek looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Ship goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Divisek has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Ship but great work by Divisek. Divisek wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ship keeps working. Divisek is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ship is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ship is trying to improve his position. Divisek is looking to take a break and control but Ship is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ship tries to bench press Divisek off him but Divisek keeps the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ship regains half guard. Divisek trying to control the action but Ship is working from the bottom. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Juraj Divisek will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ship lands a nice hook to Divisek's body. Divisek takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Divisek is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Divisek attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Ship with the counter takedown but Divisek avoids it easily. Ship throws a sloppy head kick and Divisek moves out of range easily. Ship's coach down at Deathsquad was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ship's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Ship jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Divisek walks away with a smile on his face. Ship gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Ship is trying hard to land a takedown here. Divisek sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Ship is breathing heavily. Divisek moves out of range of the body kick from Ship.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Divisek creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Ship is trying to pull guard but Divisek turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Juraj Divisek has scored more points in the clinch so far. Divisek throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Ships head. Divisek lands a hook that snaps the head of Ship backwards.
